I was so honored to be invited to speak at the Story Gathering at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, TN in September. The conference focuses on the role of creativity in shaping culture.
After speaking, I go to sit between Micah Bournes and Nikkolas Smith for a panel discussion on the role of artists and storytellers in racial reconciliation. 2016 has been a significant year in helping me better grasp my own understanding of race and how I view and approach people of different races.
